The dial is the point

Most bedside clocks offer a high setting and a low setting, and for a lot of people the low setting is still a lamp. The UE218 has a dial instead, running the display from full brightness to nothing at all. Owners tell us this is what sold them, and it is the reason a clock we launched in 2022 is still the one we sell most of.

Two alarms, two schedules

Two people in one bed rarely get up at the same time. The UE218 carries two entirely separate alarms, each with its own time, its own tone and its own pattern: every day, weekdays only, or weekends only. Both switches are on the front, both are reachable half asleep, and the snooze bar across the top gives nine more minutes without anybody having to find a small button.

How loud is loud

The alarm is adjustable from about 30 to about 110 decibels and always ramps up rather than starting at full volume. The top of that range is genuinely loud. For scale, national hearing-health guidance puts sirens at 110 to 129 dBA and warns that repeated exposure at or above 85 dBA can damage hearing. That setting exists for people who sleep through everything, and it is not where we would leave a clock that sits a foot from your ear every night.

What is in the box

The clock, a captive adapter with a 4.9-foot cord, and the instructions. Three AAA cells for the backup are not included. The USB port on the back charges a phone while the clock is plugged in; it does not run from the batteries.

This is the line the other four learned from: the dial, the ramp and the two alarms all started here. Odokee bedside clocks carry them in different combinations, and the bedside guide explains what each combination is for.
