Using odokee.org means accepting what follows. It is short because the site does very little: it describes what we make and links to where it is sold.

Where a purchase actually happens

No transaction takes place on this site. Every buy button opens a product page belonging to our retail partner, and the contract of sale, the price you pay, the delivery, the returns window and the consumer rights attached to the purchase are all theirs. The eighteen-month warranty on our clocks is ours and is honoured through them.

Prices and availability

Prices and availability on this site come from our own scheduled update and can move between updates. Where a figure here differs from the figure at checkout, checkout is correct. How we update sets out the schedule and what each update changes.

Accuracy of the guides

The journal is written carefully and sourced, and it is still general information about consumer products. It is not medical advice, not professional advice of any other kind, and not a substitute for the instructions supplied with a product. Specifications can change between production runs; the packaging in your hand outranks a page on the internet.

What is ours

The text, photography, video stills, layout and code on the Odokee range belong to us. Read them, quote them with a link, send them to somebody. Do not republish them wholesale or present them as your own. Product names and marks belonging to other companies remain theirs and are used here only to describe compatibility or to name a standard.

Liability

We take reasonable care over what is published here and cannot guarantee that every page is complete and current at every moment. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site itself, which is separate from our obligations for the products we make.

Safety, briefly

These are mains-powered electronics for indoor domestic use. Use the supplied adapter or the correct replacement, keep them dry, do not open the case, and do not run a 5V unit from a 9V supply or the reverse. Backup batteries are for outages and are not a power source; remove them if a clock is going into storage.
